PENTAPRIM BASE is a matte alkyd primer paint for interiors. Intended for priming wood and dry plastered surfaces before painting with PENTALUX T, PENTALUX TM and PENTAPRIM alkyd enamels, as well as with MOVILAT 4, 7, 12, 25, NUOVAMAT and Interior PROFESSIONAL 7 water-dispersion paints. It has good insulating properties, including the ability to block water-soluble dirt (rust, coffee stains, nicotine, wine, etc.). Base A is used in white or tinted in light shades. Priming of the surface with PENTAPRIM BASE, which is tinted in the colour of the top coat, reduces the consumption of paint to be used for the top coat.
Stir thoroughly before use. Dilute with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent up to 5% by volume, if necessary. Apply on clean dry surfaces with a brush or roller in 1–2 coats. During application, the air and paintable surface temperature must be not below +5 °C, air relative humidity – not higher than 85%. Consumption is 8–10 m2/l per coat. Drying time at 20±2 °C is not more than 24 hours.
Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature above 0 °C.
