NOVAKOR anti-corrosion primer contains effective anti-corrosion pigments. Intended for priming outdoor steel surfaces before application of alkyd and urethane alkyd enamels Pentaprim, Pentatop Universal, Pentalux T and Neosprint 30.

Stir the primer thoroughly before use and, if necessary, dilute with xylene or with SOLVEKS or SOLVEKS SPRINT solvents by volume: up to 5% when applied with a roller or brush. Application of primer by spraying is allowed only in painting facilities of industrial plants and workshops. Before applying the primer, the surface must be cleaned of dirt and corrosion products (rust) and degreased. The air and surface temperature must not be below +5 °C. Air relative humidity must not be higher than 85%. Apply the primer in 1–2 coats on a clean dry surface with a brush, roller, sprayer or airless spray equipment (with a nozzle diameter of 0.011″–0.017″). Consumption per coat with a dry film thickness of 40–50 μm (excluding losses during application) is 10–12.5 m²/l. Drying time at 20±2 °C is not more than 5 hours, curing time until application of the next coat of primer or enamel is not less than 6 hours.
