One-component water-soluble semi-matte parquet varnish on an acrylate-polyurethane dispersion base is intended for varnishing parquet floors in both residential and intensively used public premises. Forms a wear-resistant coating. (Not to be used for varnishing parquet from certain varieties of beech and diamond pine.)

Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. The surface to be varnished must be clean, dry and free from sanding dust. Temperature of the air and surface to be varnished must not be below +10 ºC. Air relative humidity must be not higher than 80%. Avoid direct sunlight and draught during varnish application.

PRIMING:

Before applying the varnish, it is recommended to prime the parquet with a primer varnish. Neokron M itself can also be used for priming. Prime in 1 coat with a brush or roller or in 2–3 coats with a special steel blade for varnishing. After applying the priming coat, it should be sanded. Drying time before sanding is not less than 6 hours. Sanding is usually not necessary when priming with the steel blade for varnishing.

APPLICATION OF TOP COATS:

Apply the varnish with a brush or roller in 2–3 coats (excluding the priming coat). Prime in even coats, preventing local accumulation of varnish. Consumption per coat: 8–10 m²/l when applied with a roller or brush, 20–25 m²/l when applied with the special steel blade for varnishing. Drying time at +20 ºC is 4 hours. The curing time between applications must be not less than 5 hours. Drying time before beginning of free movement is 6 hours. The drying time increases at lower temperature. Full hardening of the varnish takes place within 1 week from the time of application. It is allowed to lay carpets, place furniture, wet clean, as well as apply protective waxes not earlier than after 1 week. Use water to clean work tools. Dried varnish residue is removed with acetone or solvent 646. Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature not lower than +5 °C.
